The Institute is an ideal venue for small wedding receptions and celebrations, and offers a unique setting for your day with stunning views across the bay from the upper and lower balconies. It will seat a maximum of 50 people seated, or 60 standing. Licensed events can also be accommodated using Temporary Event Notices.
The upper floor has kitchen facilities and full disabled access. There are also toilet facilities on the ground floor and the building has full and modern central heating.
It is also a fantastic venue for local groups and organisations. Groups currently using the Institute include: Tai Chi, Yoga, Sewing Circle and W.I . It is also the home of many exhibitions which happen each year as well as the regular village coffee morning which is held every Saturday to raise much needed funds for both local and mainstream charities.
